Diablo 4 Power Levelling Guide: Best Solo and Group XP Farms

Power levelling in Diablo 4 refers to playing with the sole purpose of increasing your character’s level. Levelling up quickly involves spamming the same Nightmare Dungeons over and over again until you reach your desired level. Our Diablo 4 power levelling guide will help you get the most amount of XP possible during your playtime. Do note that playing only to level your account can be boring especially if you do not have friends to help you during the process.

Diablo 4 Power Levelling Guide: General Tips

If you are on your first character, we recommend playing through the campaign normally instead of trying to rush your progress. If you are looking to power level your second character or beyond, you should skip the campaign after creating the character. All your exploration and renown progress carries over so you do not need to unlock Altars of Lilith, Strongholds, etc each time you make a new character.

You should always consume an elixir even if the effects do not contribute to your gameplay. This will allow you to get a bit more XP during your playtime. You should also stash any important gear that you can use on your alternate characters. This will help you power up your account very quickly.

Diablo 4 Power Levelling Guide: Group XP Farm Tips

If you have a player to help you level up, the process of power levelling in Diablo 4 is a lot simpler. After skipping the campaign, ask your friend(s) to carry you in the Level 50 Capstone Dungeon. Once you clear the dungeon, repeat the process for the Level 70 Dungeon if you can.

After reaching World Tier 4 on your fresh character. You can run a few Nightmare Dungeons with your friends at the highest levels possible where they can comfortably beat the dungeons in a reasonable amount of time. You can avoid dungeons that take too long to traverse to or if you get poor affixes on your Nightmare Sigils.

You will not be able to contribute much during the early stages and since there are limited revives in these dungeons, you should fall back and let your teammates do all the work. Once you are high enough level, buy some gear from the vendors, and complete Helltides or Tree of Whispers quests. This will help you get some gear and have high enough armor to not get one shot in the dungeons.

The best way to farm gear is to spam Blind Burrows, which is the most time-efficient dungeon in the game. You can keep clearing the dungeon until you get a decent amount of gear and reach your target level.

Diablo 4 Power Levelling Guide: Solo XP Farm Tips

Solo XP farming is a complete nightmare and we recommend using the official Diablo 4 Discord server to find people to help you out. If you are certain you want to level solo, here’s what you need to do:

Once you make a fresh character, skip the campaign and head straight to the Blind Burrows Dungeon. As soon as you complete the dungeon, head out and use the Leave Game option to head to the main menu.

From the character select menu, load back into the game and the dungeon will be reset immediately. If you exit the game instead, you will be teleported to the nearest waypoint which will force you to travel back to the dungeon. Make sure you use the Leave Game option instead to save yourself some time.

Once you are at Level 50, you need to clear the Capstone Dungeon. You can start farming Nightmare Dungeons or stick to Blind Burrows for maximum XP. Repeat the process once you are at your desired level.
