Injuries are a significant factor in the MUT 24 Coins and unfortunately for a few teams, they are already beginning to crop up just a few days into training camp. The Cowboys defensive line took another hit on Monday while the Ravens are currently without one of the stars from the Super Bowl.
Dallas defensive end Anthony Spencer missed practice for the second straight day on Monday and may need surgery on the bone bruise he aggravated during a conditioning drill on Saturday. Spencer said the injury is a concern and is currently taking it day by day. Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said the team doesn't think the injury is severe but will come up with a recovery plan in the next few days.
Jacoby Jones was one of the stars in Baltimore's Super Bowl victory, but it will be at least another day before he takes the practice field for the defending champions. Jones failed his conditioning test on Monday and was placed on the non-football injury list. The test involves a series of timed interval runs, and Jones is not the first player to fail on the first try.
It's not uncommon for linemen to fail the test on their initial try, but skill players like Jones usually have a better go of it. While not a major concern, the failed test is less than an ideal start to the season for Jones, who missed some offseason workouts while participating on "Dancing With the Stars." The Ravens are counting on Jones this season and as more than just a return man. With Anquan Boldin now in San Francisco, Jones has an opportunity to buy MUT Coins Madden 24 play a significant role on offense this season.
