Longshot was the most successful attempt to create the Mut 25 coins story mode. it has some great moments, however it was also not praised for having engaging gameplay. Longshot 2 had a less engaging story, but it didn't provide enough improvements in terms of gameplay. In contrast, last year's QB1 had a great beginning but then it quickly slowed out. That's right, EA hasn't nailed the innovative product they're trying to market to the public and at the same time absconding with normal franchise mode while doing it. They're not offering an exciting one year adventure, and certainly they're not providing an engaging year to year select an adventure. This means they're not an linear game as well as an RPG, at the same time.
Legacy is a different aspect to this. It'd be much simpler for people to accept this minor difference if Madden was not at one time the most popular franchise mode experience. It's been many years since this was the case however, in the time between Madden nfl and Madden, Tiburon was a franchise mode but perfected at some time. Now? Woof. This issue keeps stacking on top of itself since Madden is behind in franchise mode for quite a while now.
When we talk regarding"the "death" Franchise mode the situation is more than Madden because the game already isn't as good as the other games. If Madden isn't putting the same amount of effort in its franchise mode counterparts this year, it's a thorny issue but the core of the game is more solid and it's much easier to enjoy the game thanks to the support of the community. In Madden there's certainly amazing mods being played in PC to make up for the shortcomings but the community doesn't aid in the same way to enhance the experience.
Additionally, you've got NFL exclusivity ending recently with EA following the announcement by both NFL in addition to Madden that the game might open up to competition. All of that is put together and that's how you can see cheap Mut 25 coins becoming the model for fanatics of the franchise mode getting together with others in the community and saying that enough is enough.
