The shooting boost is specifically targeting close shots, wide-open jumpers, and players who have the Limitless Range badge. Don't expect shooting a contested shot to be much easier NBA 2K MT, but if you work for good looks (or have the badges to bail you out), you should be sinking shots at a higher clip after the patch. The team has also addressed foot-planting on the sidelines, which should result in fewer instances of a player drifting out of bounds before a shot.
On top of that, the team has implemented some lag fixes for multiplayer games in The City and issued a refereeing update to make sure anyone who jumps early and lands on a shooter will always be called for a foul. There have also been some tweaks to the Dunk Meter to make it work more naturally and a bunch of new face scans and updates to improve the authentic look of players on the court.
